Dr Claire Phipps-Jones, Senior Partner
Claire is overall Senior Partner for HCF, which includes being the Registered Manager for our Care Quality Commission Registration. Claire is one of our dedicated GP Trainers for our intake of GP Registrars as well as being one the practices’ Safeguarding Leads for Children.
Claire also supports Sandra Greenwood as the Partner Lead for the Clinical Services Directorate.
Dr Patrick Wynn, Senior Partner
External to the practice, Patrick is the Chair for Novus Health Ltd and regularly provides medical services at local Horse Racing events.
Patrick also supports the Operations Team as the Partner Lead for the Operations Directorate and works closely with Dr Claire Phipps-Jones as Senior Partner.
Dr Colin Speers, GP Partner
Colin is a GP Partner for HCF and specialises in IT/Digital Technology.
External to HCF, Colin is heavily involved with both the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (formerly NHS Wakefield Clinical Commissioning Group).
Dr Joseph Webster, GP Partner
Joe is a GP Partner for HCF and specialises in QoF and GP Traini
Joe is one of our dedicated GP Trainers for our intake of GP Registrars as well as being one the practices’ Safeguarding Leads for Adults.
Dr Zain Yusuf
Zain is a GP Partner for HCF and specialises in Finances. Zain is also one of our dedicated GP Trainers for our intake of GP Registrars as well as being one the practices’ Safeguarding Leads for Adults.
Zain also supports Paul as the Partner Lead for the Finance Directorate.
Dr Katie McGowan
Whilst Katie is new to Partnership, she is our GP Lead for Cancer and Palliative Care and is supported on a daily basis by one of our Care Co-ordinators and our Home Visiting Team.
Katie provides individual comprehensive and personalised care for patients (with all GP colleagues) with a palliative a diagnosis. Katie is also be our Qof lead for Cancer and Cervical Screening.
Dr Murad Khan
As well as becoming one of our new GP Partners, Murad will also lead research for HCF and specialises in Preventive Cardiology.
Murad brings experience of having worked in Secondary Care Cardiology for 12 years before becoming a GP and has been working in Primary Care for the last 5 years. External to HCF, Murad is heavily involved with Westcliffe Health Innovations, which provides Community Cardiology Services for Bradford CCG. Murad’s main aspiration is propagation of Preventive Cardiac Care, development of Community Cardiology services for Wakefield with particular focus on primary care Research & Development.
As part of our QoF domains, Murad will lead on AF/HF, Hypertension/BP, CHD and STIA.
Dr Ben Hartley
Also new to Partnership, Ben is currently undertaking a Post Graduate Diploma to specialise in Dermatology. Ben is also one of our dedicated GP Trainers for our intake of GP Registrars as well as a Foundation Year 2 Trainer.
Ben’s lead roles within HCF will be to lead on all aspects of GP Training as well as continuing with his role as a GP Trainer.
